“Today’s client is solution-focused. They want an attorney who has authentic compassion, yet will bring value through their expertise and effectively move them through the process and prepare them for the future.”

“Today’s client is solution-focused,” says Harrison. “They want an attorney who has authentic compassion, yet will bring value through their expertise and effectively move them through the process and prepare them for the future.”

Harrison says it is these hallmarks of the firm that have positioned GoransonBain Ausley as a front-runner in the practice of family law. He credits the leadership of Beth E. Maultsby, who served as the firm’s Managing Partner for the past four years, for spearheading the firm’s growth yet retaining its unique culture and reputation.

Under Maultsby’s leadership, the firm saw unparalleled growth by attracting top talent to both its professional legal team and staff. The family law firm expanded offices in Dallas and Plano, and opened a new office in Austin. It added new services including a Flat Fee Divorce and supported the local community with the Art with Heart fundraiser.

“Moving forward our plans for growth will continue to strategically focus on representing people in a family transition with expertise, determination and compassion,” adds Harrison. Among his first initiatives will be to embrace technology as a tool that increases efficiency for clients.

He also will build on the firm’s solid reputation in taking a reasoned and strategic approach to family law matters. “With interest-based negotiation on the rise, we are leading from the front and well prepared to grow with the market demand,” he said. Adding, “the firm’s attorneys are equally experienced in courtroom strategies, tactics, and advocacy when a more aggressive approach is needed.”

Harrison is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been named as a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters each year since 2008. He currently serves on the Texas Board of Legal Specialization Family Law Advisory Commission and has served on the Collin County Bench Bar Foundation Board of Trustees.

A graduate of Baylor University School of Law, he is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court to practice in Texas State courts and has been admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, the Collin County Bar Association and the Dallas Bar Association. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.
