Pat Kelly has handled difficult family law cases since he began practicing law. In his first family law trial, he prevailed, winning primary custody for a single father. Pat is a passionate advocate for his clients and works well with all parties to get the best possible outcome. His goal-orientated and solution-focused approach enables him to effectively manage both the emotional and financial cost of a divorce. His objectiveness and problem-solving approach, coupled with his determination to do the best possible job, help his clients achieve the most favorable results.

As an attorney with Goranson, Bain, Larsen, Greenwald, Maultsby & Murphy, PLLC., Pat practices in the area of family law, handling divorce, custody and enforcement cases. Prior to joining Goranson Bain, Pat was a solo practitioner in Texas and New York, practicing family law and civil litigation. He has experience in real estate transactions and financial markets, and is committed to preserving and protecting his clients’ assets. He often assists clients with post-divorce estate planning and property issues.

Pat is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar, and the State Bar of New York. Pat graduated from Syracuse College of Law, where he was an Associate Editor on the Syracuse Law Review. While in law school, Pat also interned as a Law Clerk for a New York State Supreme Judge. Pat is the recipient of the 2001 Honorable Michael F. Dillon Law Guardian Award. In 2002 he was nominated for the Howard A. Levine Award, for his work representing and advocating for children before the New York State Family Courts. In custody disputes, his attention is on the best interests of the children.
